For Prototyping:
UMA 90 (Urethane Methacrylate): The UMA family contains rigid resins similar to conventional SLA resins. They are well-suited for producing manufacturing jigs, fixtures, and general-purpose prototypes. Coloration can be customized upon request.
Medical Grade:
MPU 100 (Sterilizable Polyurethane): MPU 100 provides a distinct combination of mechanical strength, biocompatibility, and sterilizability. It maintains its integrity across various sterilization methods, including ethylene oxide, e-beam, gamma, and autoclave processes, and is compatible with common hospital disinfectants.
Rigid Plastics:
RPU 130 (Rigid Polyurethane): RPU 130 is a robust and rigid engineering polyurethane that exhibits durability, impact resistance, and performance at elevated temperatures. Its high thermal stability and low creep make it well-suited for parts that must operate reliably under constant loads or varying environmental conditions.
RPU 70 (Rigid Polyurethane): RPU 70 is a tough, general-purpose material that is a good choice for parts requiring strength, durability, and moderate heat resistance. This material has a UL 94 HB flame resistance classification. RPU 70 is comparable to ABS.
EPX 82 (Epoxy): EPX 82 is a high-strength engineering material with excellent long-term durability. This material has a heat deflection temperature ranging from 104°C to 130°C (depending on conditioning) and the functional toughness required for a variety of automotive and industrial applications such as connectors, brackets, and housings. EPX 82 is comparable to lightly glass-filled thermoplastics (e.g. 20% GF-PBT, 15% GF-Nylon).
LOCTITE 3D IND405 Clear (Translucent): LOCTITE 3D IND405 Clear is a rigid, high-strength engineering material offering remarkable impact resistance. Known as one of the toughest clear resins available, it boasts a high Young's modulus (1300 MPa) and impressive elongation of 127%, making it both stiff and highly resilient.
Flexible Elastomers and Rubber-Like Materials:
EPU 40 (Highly elastic polyurethane): EPU 40 is a high-performance polyurethane elastomer that is a good choice for applications where high elasticity and tear resistance are needed. EPU 40 is comparable to commercial TPUs with a Shore hardness of 72A.
EPU 41 (Production-grade elastomer): EPU 41 is a production-grade elastomeric polyurethane known for its exceptional resilience and strong performance across a wide temperature range. It offers improved cold temperature flexibility and is highly effective at absorbing and returning energy during compression.
EPU 46 (Customizable-color elastomer): EPU 46 is a high-energy return elastomeric material formulated with 40% biobased content. The material utilizes a color base resin that can be pigmented to meet your exact aesthetic requirements. It is an excellent choice for durable, resilient components that require both structural integrity and specific color matching.
SIL 30 (Silicone): SIL 30 is a silicone urethane. It offers a unique combination of low durometer and tear-resistance for printed parts. This material is well-suited for applications such as headphones, wristbands, and various attachments for wearables. SIL 30 has a Shore hardness of 35A.
FPU 50 (Flexible Polyurethane)*: FPU 50 is an impact, abrasion, and fatigue resistant semi-rigid material that is a good choice for parts that must withstand repetitive stresses. This material can be ideal for tough enclosures, hinging mechanisms, and friction fits. FPU is comparable to polypropylene. * Available by special request.
