With Supplier Team Management you are now able to invite users to your team and give them limited access to the different tools within the Xometry platform based on their role. This guide provides you a step-by-step walkthrough on how to invite new users, edit their permissions, and manage your team.
Setting Up Supplier Team Management
Starting from the sidebar of your Workcenter Portal click the drop down arrow next to your name.
Next, click the option that says Team Management.
This will take you to the Team Management dashboard. Here you will be able to view, set-up, and customize your team as needed.
Invite Team Members
Click the Invite button to start inviting team members once you land on your Team Management dashboard. Enter the email(s) you would like to invite to your team and click Send invites.
You can manage any outstanding invitations by clicking on the Invitations tab here.
Edit Team Permission Settings
You can customize your team members’ permission settings by selecting the person icon next to each team member.
New team members will default to only allowing them to access current and completed. Customize each user as needed.
- Admin Permissions - Admins have full access that includes adding new members and all job board features.
- Custom Permissions - Only access current and completed work or create customized access for this user.
Price Information Permissions
Price Information is set to No Access by default but you can change this to Full Access based on the user’s role in your organization.
- No Access (Default) - User can’t view any price information on the job board, current work, completed work, or ship finances pages.
- Full Access - User can view all price information on the job board, current work, completed work, and shop finances pages.
Current Work Permissions
Current Work is set to Full Access by default but you can change this to No Access or View Only based on the user’s role in your organization.
- No Access - User can’t view jobs, upload documents, edit job/part statuses, or edit tracking information.
- View Only - User can view jobs, but can’t upload documents, edit job/part statuses, or edit tracking information.
- Full Access (Default) - User can view jobs, upload documents, edit job/part statuses, or edit tracking information.
Completed Work Permissions
Completed Work is set to Full Access by default but you can change this to No Access based on the user’s role in your organization.
- No Access - User can’t view jobs, upload documents, edit job/part statuses, or edit tracking information.
- Full Access (Default) - User can view jobs, upload documents, edit job/part statuses, or edit tracking information.
Job Board Permissions
Job Board is set to No Access by default but you can change this to View Only or Full Access based on the user’s role in your organization.
- No Access (Default) - User can’t view jobs, accept, or provide feedback on job offers.
- View Only - User can view the job board but can’t accept or provide feedback on job offers.
- Full Access - User can accept and provide feedback on job offers.
Shop Finances
Shop Finances is set to No Access by default but you can change this to View Only or Full Access based on the user’s role in your organization.
- No Access (Default) - User can’t view or edit financial information, financial settings page.
- View Only - User can view shop finances and financial settings page but can’t edit.
- Full Access - User can view and edit shop finances, financial settings, and page.
