Customers have the option of charging shipping to their company’s carrier-specific account. Carrier options include DHL, FedEx, UPS, or USPS. If you’d like to get set up with this, please reach out to support@xometry.com requesting that your account be approved to use a third party shipping account.
Save a Shipping Account
Once you’re approved to use a third party shipping account, you can easily save that information by going to your Account Settings page.
Underneath the Shipping Address section, you’ll see a dropdown menu where you can select one of the available carriers and add the corresponding account number. Please note that DHL and FedEx account numbers must be 9 digits, while UPS account numbers are 6 digits.
Once you’ve saved the account information, it will be available to use in Checkout.
Customers can also save and use a third party shipping account while checking out. Click the “Add Shipping Account” button, and then fill out the corresponding carrier and account number information in the window.
Once the new account has been saved, it will be available for use.
