Xometry makes shipping simple by automatically determining the best shipping method to hit your promised delivery timelines and offers free express shipping for the most popular manufacturing processes. The sections below outline the shipping options available for your orders in greater detail.
Free Shipping Through Xometry
Shipping is free for most orders, except for freight shipments. For international shipments, customers pay for duties/taxes. The carrier, shipping method, and shipping speed for your packages will be determined by your promised delivery date. Xometry defers to express shipping methods to ensure timely delivery.

Shipping Through Your Account
If you desire greater control over the carrier and shipping speed, you can self-manage your shipping options by selecting “Your Shipping Account” in the Delivery Method section. This will enable you to select a carrier, provide your shipping account information, and select a specific shipping method you’d like us to use.
The Fine Print
General
- Some orders may require special shipping arrangements (e.g., freight): If this happens, our team will calculate shipping costs and contact you via email or by phone to discuss payment options.
- No purchase minimum is required to qualify for free shipping on eligible orders.
- Exclusions may apply for orders that require freight shipping.
- Customers are responsible for duties, taxes, and fees associated with international shipping on non-prototype shipments.
- For shipping destinations outside the United States, customers may provide a valid shipping account, such as FedEx, UPS, or DHL, during checkout.
- For shipping destinations outside the United States, customers are responsible for any duties, taxes, and fees billed separately by the country of import.
- Domestic shipments are orders that originate and ship to locations within the United States. Orders shipping to Canada will incur shipping charges.
3D Printing Orders
- All domestic 3D-printed orders are eligible for free 2-day shipping.
- International 3D-printed orders are eligible for free international priority shipping.
CNC Machining, Sheet Metal, Tube Fabrication Orders
- Domestic standard or economy CNC machining, sheet metal, and tube fabrication (cutting and/or bending) orders are eligible for free 2-day shipping.
- Non-domestic economy CNC machining, sheet metal, or tube fabrication orders are eligible for free international priority shipping.
Other Process Orders (e.g., injection molding, casting, etc.)
- Injection molding and urethane casting services are not eligible for free shipping.
- High-volume production processes, such as die casting, metal extrusion, metal stamping, etc., are not eligible for free shipping.
