The best and fastest way to get into contact with someone from our team is by creating a discussion!
Starting a New Discussion
To start a new discussion, begin by clicking the New Discussion button on the right side of your screen.
Once you press the New Discussion button you will be brought to this screen where you can begin writing your new discussion post.
First, you will want to select a category for your discussion. When you click on the Select a category... dropdown you will be able to choose from a number of different categories that are present in the Community. You will want to choose a category that pertains to what your new discussion is based on. For example, if I was writing a new discussion on some tricks I have picked up, I would use the category Partner Tips and Tricks.
Discussion Title and Description
Next, give your new discussion a title that will let other Community members know what to expect when they read your discussion. After writing your discussion title, you're ready to start writing the description of your discussion! In the description, you are able to add emojis, images, embedded links, and attachments. This can be found in the bottom section of the description portion.
Tags are a feature that allows community members to add keywords to discussions. Tags help label specific content to improve finding the article through the search bar. If you wish to tag your article, simply click Show popular tags and click on the tags that pertain to your discussion.
Lastly, once you have finished selecting your category, titling, and adding the description to your discussion, you're ready to post! You can post your discussion by clicking the Post Discussion button below the description of your discussion. Notice that you can also save your discussion as a draft. If you click your profile photo in the top right you will be able to see your drafts.
Commenting on Discussions
To comment on an existing discussion you simply need to click into any discussion. Once you've clicked into the discussion you should see a Leave a comment section. Here you can leave any comments, thoughts, or feedback. Below are screenshots from our Friday music suggestions! discussion. You can add yours here.
Once you are done writing your comment, all you have to do is hit the Post Comment button. When commenting on a post you are able to include emojis, images, embedded links, and attachments such as in the description of a discussion. Community members will then be able to view your comment and respond to you.
For the quickest results, tag Adam Bowe or Luke Florence and they will make sure to answer your questions in real time.
