To view all of your received and sent proposals click the "Proposals" button in the top right corner of your dashboard. This brings you to the page shown below where you can view all of your proposals (sent and received).
To create a proposal, navigate to the supplier's Shop Profile that you are interested in working with. Click the "Start a Quote" button to begin crafting your proposal.
For example, if you are finishing up a Xometry job but it still requires finishing work, you could view Shop Profiles that provide finishing work and send them a proposal.
Once you have clicked the "Start a Quote" button you will be brought to this page where you can include:
- Contact information
- Fulfillment date
- Ship date
- Line items that enables sellers to provide you with more accurate quotes
- Any other relevant files for reference with our drag and drop feature
After filling out each section of the "Create a Request" form, click the "Save Changes" button and then the "Submit Request" button.
Upon submitting the request, the seller will be notified of your new request and you will be presented with these two options of creating a new proposal to the same or another supplier or returning to the Supplier Listing.
How can I walk my customers through applying for terms?
During the checkout process, your customer can choose to pay with a credit card or apply for Net-30 terms with Xometry Flex with Invoice.
Your customer would then need to complete the enrollment application.
After they have successfully completed the enrollment application, they will need to apply for terms by filling out the forms below.
Once they are approved for terms they will be presented with this dashboard which will contain they credit limit, part purchases, etc.
Your customer will now be able to select "pay later" and complete the payment!
